Prescriptions
When prescription medicines are being supplied it is a legal requirement for the vet to regularly monitor the pet. Our practice policy is that animals should be assessed every 3 – 6 months (depending on the condition).
This involves a consultation with the veterinarian where a blood test may be performed to make sure that the medication is firstly at the correct dosage and secondly that it is not having any adverse effects on your pet.
